The Club conducts two sessions a week—on Saturday at the outdoor range and on Wednesday evening at the indoor range.

range fees

To cover cost of disposables such as targets, butts and arrows, and to be able maintain existing equipment and to purchase new Club equipment the Club charges a "range fee" for all members and visitors that wish to shoot.

The range fee at the indoor range also contributes to the cost of the venue rental.

outdoor range

The outdoor range is at Handley St. (south of USQ). The outdoor range allows archers to practice all of the outdoor competition distances. Outdoor competition distances range from 30 metres to 90 metres—the distances an archer has to shoot in competition depends on gender and age.

indoor range

The indoor range is in the Berghofer Pavilion at the Toowoomba Showgrounds. The Berghofer pavilion is the smaller pavilion behind the large Founders pavilion.

The pavilion is normally opened by 6:30pm.

The indoor range allows archers to practice the two distances used for indoor competition 18 metres and 25 metres.
